The mission of the Coopérative des Jeunes Riverains de Louvoulou (LOU.COO.PA.RI) is to offer the Congolese population fresh, high-quality 100% organic agricultural produce produced in an environmentally-friendly way.
Incorporated in 2019, LOU.COO.PA.RI is an agricultural enterprise based in the village of Louvoulou - District of Kakamoeka in the Kouilou department and located 72 kilometers from Pointe-Noire.
Its activities cover an area of 8 hectares, benefiting from the fertile climate of the Mayombe forest and arable land conducive to healthy agriculture.
The company mainly produces pineapples of the Comosus species, sweet cassava, papaya, bananas, plantains and market garden produce, whose average weight varies from 1.8 kg to 2 kg at maturity.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Blanche Thérèse DEMBI BOULOU,
President
Madame Blanche Thérèse DEMBI BOULOU is a natural leader and an exceptional woman born in 1956 in Koukebana, District Madingo-Kayes in the department of Kouilou. Her remarkable career path demonstrates her determination, beginning at the Pointe-Noire Town Hall and ending as an administrative executive with 36 years' service.
Her passion for agriculture led her to found the LOU.COO.PA.RI cooperative, which is transforming the sector and improving the lives of farmers by successfully introducing pineapple and corn cultivation. Always eager to learn and innovate, Mrs DEMBI BOULOU has travelled to several countries, enriching her knowledge and bringing in modern techniques to optimize the development of her farming activities.
Mrs DEMBI BOULOU and her partners are working to modernize agriculture by providing her members, the farmers, with semi-industrial tools to improve their working conditions and enhance the value of their profession. In this way, she hopes to enable the women who predominantly work in the sector to derive greater benefit, and to encourage a new generation to enter this profession, which is essential to poverty reduction.
In addition to being President of the Coopérative des Jeunes Riverains de Louvoulou (LOU.COO.PA.RI), she was appointed to the Conseil Économique Social et Environnemental (CESE) by presidential decree (Décret N. 2019-182 du 10 juillet 2019 portant nomination des membres du CESE), where she coordinates the Alliance Paysanne consortium. Her responsibilities demonstrate her commitment to the economic, social and environmental development of her department, carrying a vision for a prosperous future for Congolese agriculture.

To optimize production throughout the year, the Cooperative recruits seasonal workers to ensure regular maintenance of the fields. A regular control process is also carried out to ensure that product quality meets consumer expectations, guaranteeing satisfaction and conformity with market requirements.
